Faithful+Gould elevates Paul Doherty to UAE director

Doherty has been with the consultancy for 18 years, and will be responsible for developing the company’s business in the UAE

Paul Doherty has just been appointed as UAE country director of Faithful+Gould. The international project and programme management consultancy says the appointment is part of its growth strategy for the region, and enables it to deliver the best possible solutions for its clients.

Doherty has been with the consultancy for 18 years, and will be responsible for developing the company’s business in the UAE. He will also be tasked with ensuring that Faithful+Gould is set-up to take advantage of any strategic opportunities in the country in the coming years.

“This is a great opportunity for me to help develop our brand further at a time when we can make a real difference to ensure major projects in the region are delivered on time and to budget. I’m very much looking forward to working with the team to leverage Faithful+Gould’s long track record in the Middle East,” explained Doherty.

Faithful+Gould has been active in the Middle East for over 20-years, and now has 265 people on the ground in the UAE. Over his long career with the firm, Doherty has held numerous posts including head of project management and building surveying for the Midland region in the United Kingdom. He has also served as national business development lead for the SCAPE Asset Management Framework, and more recently, he was the head of operations for the UK West Midlands region.

Speaking about the appointment, Campbell Gray, managing director of Faithful+Gould commented, “Paul’s broad knowledge and experience means he is ideally placed to further develop our already successful project and programme management business in a region where extensive opportunities exist. He has a fantastic track record and this new role will ensure we are in the best possible position to deliver strong and consistent growth.”
