The Dubai-listed Emaar Properties has appointed Amit Jain as group chief executive, the company said on Wednesday in a statement to the stock exchange.
Jain was previously chief operating officer of the group. His new appointment is effective immediately.
Abdullah Lahej, the former CEO, left the company for Dubai Properties Group last year.
Emaar earlier said that Jain would handle the responsibilities of the CEO position on an acting basis.
