Work commences on Dubai’s $1.2m Al Twar park

Park development is in line with the government’s plans to increase greenery in residential communities

Dubai Municipality has announced that work has begun on a AED 4.69m ($1.2m) park located in the Al Twar 1 area near Bin Ketit Mosque.

The 1.1 hectare park is part of a proposal for developing new attractions for tourists and visitors to Dubai, and is in line with the government’s plans to increase greenery in residential communities.

The park will contain two playgrounds with rubber flooring – one for those aged two to six and the other for six to twelve-year old, a running track, trees, bushes and lawns and an automatic irrigation system.
