Bayside Developments has said work on the Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay is progressing ahead of schedule, with the fifth level of the towers now completed.
Situated on a private island at the centre of Bahrain Bay, the luxury hotel is set for completion in April 2014. Bahraini officials estimate the project to result in direct and indirect economic benefits for the kingdom of around $300m over the next five to seven years.
The 201-metre, 50-storey hotel would offer 263 guest rooms, a spa and leisure facilities, a suspended ‘Sky Pod’ restaurant, meeting and event spaces, four dining options and panoramic city and sea views for guestrooms and suites.
