Kuwait United Facilities Management (KUFM), a subsidiary of United Real Estate Company (URC), has signed an agreement with environmental solutions provider, Istidamah, to develop and upgrade environmental services offered at URC’s commercial centres and office towers in Kuwait.
According to the deal, Istidamah is to be responsible for collection, disposal, and recycling of paper, cardboard, and plastic waste from five URC properties.
“Istidamah will bring its professional expertise, modern environmental solutions, and recycling programs that will contribute to the reduction of health and environmental issues caused by waste burial and traditional waste management methods,” said Khalid Mohamed Al-Mutawa, chairman and managing director of Istidamah.
