Comansa CM to launch its first luffing-jib crane

Spanish heavyweight keeps details under wraps until new model’s premier at Bauma China

Comansa has announced that it will introduce a new series of luffing-jib tower cranes – the CML series – to the global market at Bauma China.

The Spanish manufacturer, which was known for its focus on flat-top tower cranes, is making its first foray into the luffing jib crane sector. A statement from the company said it will premier the new crane at the Bauma China construction machinery show from November 22-25, adding that it will be the first of the CML series, a new range of luffing jib cranes.

Until now, Comansa’s focus on flat-top tower cranes had seen the company build 13 models, divided into three series that form its current range of cranes without pendant lines. The flat-top tower cranes from Comansa have maximum load capacities from 6t to 25t, which makes for a range suitable for most construction jobs, from residential to large infrastructure or industrial projects. The latest launch of the series came last September with the CM1600 series of flat-top tower cranes.
