Dubai-based construction firm, Kele Contracting has won the contract to build the Dragon Mart Hotel, part of the 177,000 m2 Dragon Mart Phase 2 development.
Scheduled for completion within thirteen months, the nine-storey,three-star hotelwill feature around 246 roomsand encompass a built up area of about 14,000 m2. Earlier this year, Nakheel also selected the firm to build a multi-storey car parking facility for Dragon Mart.
Scheduled for completion in the fourth quarter of 2012, the gate-controlled car park will contain approximately 1,894 additional parking spaces spread over four storeys, as well as underground parking. 
The completion of Phase 2 will bring the total area of the Dragon Mart complex to 335,000 m2.
