ADU lays foundation stone for new campus in Al Ain

Phase one of campus will be completed by September 2019

Abu Dhabi University (ADU), which has campuses in the UAE capital Al Ain and Dubai, has laid the foundation stone for its new campus in Al Ain, it has announced.

The new campus has an overall area of 45,000sqm and will cost $81 million, ADU said in a statement.

It added that the first phase – spanning 28,000sqm – is scheduled to be completed by September 2019.

The ground-breaking ceremony drew the participation of His Excellency Ali Saeed bin Harmal Al Dhaheri, chairman of ADU’s Board of Directors, Salem Mubarak Al Dhaheri, executive director of Community Relations at ADU, Professor Waqar Ahmad, chancellor of ADU, and Dr Mohammad Fteiha, interim director of ADU’s Al Ain Campus.
