Emirates Facilities Management (EFM) has won a contract to provide the UAE Ministry of Finance with support services including key engineering and consultancy services.
As part of the agreement EFM will engineering services including air conditioning maintenance, electricity services, maintenance of fire systems and the management of specialised maintenance contracts.
The firm will also implement a range of advisory services for the benefit of the ministry such as estimating assets, asset life cycle management, energy and conservation management, related workshops and training courses, along with providing relevant consultation. 
“The agreement is a step towards promoting the ministry’s vision in supporting a sustainable and balanced development for the UAE,” said Musabah Mohammed Al Suwaidi, the assistant under-secretary of support services sector at the ministry.
