Aedas to design capital’s Hard Rock Hotel

Abu Dhabi based 46 storey luxury hotel scheduled to open in fourth quarter of 2015

Aabar Properties, a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi-based Aabar Investments, has commissioned Hong Kong-based Aedas Interiors to design the Hard Rock Hotel in the emirate.

Set to become the brand’s first hotel in the Middle East region, the 46-storey luxury hotel will include a two-tier lobby with the top floor accommodating lounges, function rooms, a grand ballroom.

The hotel will also have restaurants including the Hard Rock Cafe, a hookah lounge, a 37th-floor Sky Bar with swimming pool, a Rock Spa, meeting facilities, function space, and fitness centre and entertainment facilities.

The 378-room property will be designed by the team of the Aedas Interiors office in Dubai, along with knowledge input from Aedas’ international interiors teams.

Construction is set to commence shortly and the hotel is expected to be completed by the fourth quarter of 2015.
