KSA awarded contracts worth $5.57 billion for development projects in the Q1 of 2010

KSA awarded contracts worth $5.57 billion for development projects in the Q1 of 2010, according to state news agency SPA.

 

The largest chunk, worth 15.7 billion riyals, went to construction projects such as roads, schools or hospitals, SPA cited the finance ministry as saying, reported Reuters. The country plans to spend more than $400 billion until 2013 to upgrade its infrastructure.
