Set to be constructed alongside the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi and the Louvre Abu Dhabi in Saadiyat Island’s Cultural District, the Zayed Museum will showcase HH Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan’s life and the influence of his reforms.

The project will feature five pavilions that will rise to 124m high and will feature landscaped gardens and audio visual features. It is scheduled to be completed in 2014.

Designed by the leading UK based architectural firm Foster+Partners, the museum will serve as a monument and memorial to the UAE’s founding president Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
