Metropolitan Premium Properties sells $17.5mn penthouse in Atlantis The Royal

The 771sqm four-bed penthouse sold to European buyer reveals Metropolitan Premium Properties

Real estate agency Metropolitan Premium Properties has sold a penthouse for AED 64 million ($17.5 million) making it one of the most expensive properties sold in Dubai in 2021.

Built and operated by Kerzner, Atlantis The Royal Dubai is located on the crescent of The Palm is made up of 231 luxury apartments, 693 hotel rooms and 102 suites.

The 771sqm four-bed penthouse was sold to a European national revealed Metropolitan Premium Properties and features uninterrupted views of the Palm and the Arabian sea and has its own swimming pool.

It is the second most expensive property in the development after the top-floor five-bed penthouse triplex, which is also listed by Metropolitan Premium Properties,  selling for  $49 million.

“This is one of our agency’s biggest deals this year and it is a good example of how HNWI still consider Dubai the number one destination for property investment,” said Nikita Kuznetsov, Partner Metropolitan Group and CEO of Metropolitan Premium Properties. “The deal was concluded in just four days further highlighting the confidence in Dubai’s economy and real estate market.

Metropolitan Premium Properties has previously sold two penthouses located in the W Residence, Palm Jumeirah, which sold for $20 million to the same buyer. Other sales include a Royal Atlantis Garden Villa for $12 million and one in IL PRIMO Downtown for $11 million to a European buyer.

“We have seen strong demand for luxury properties especially from international buyers primarily from the CIS, the UK and other parts of Europe including France, Germany and Austria,” Kuznetsov, added.
