A high-rise building currently under construction in Dubai was engulfed in a massive blaze on Saturday, eyewitnesses told Big Project ME.
The building, which is near the junction between Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Road and Al Khail Road, close to Dubai International Cricket Stadium, in Dubai Sports City, is believed to have recently restarted construction work, residents in the area said.
Civil defence authorities were on site to battle the blaze, which is said to have started at around 3:00 PM UAE time, on Saturday. 
According to eyewitnesses, fire services used helicopters to spray extinguishers on the high-rise building as they attempted to control the fire.
