Parsons has been awarded a consultancy services contract by TECOM Investments for the Dubai Design District (D3), according to a company statement.

D3 currently has 10 buildings under construction and will comprise of commercial and retail facilities, a waterfront promenade, event venues, academic institutions, distinct public spaces, street furniture, and shaded walkways.

Located adjacent to the Dubai Business Bay area, the project has an overall site area of approximately 22 million sq. ft. The masterplan for the D3 community was unveiled at Cityscape Global last month.

“Dubai’s luxury, design, and fashion sectors are poised for dramatic growth, and Parsons is eager to successfully deliver the project and support Dubai Holding in achieving its vision,” said Gary Adams, Parsons MEA President.
