‘New Ibiza’ to be built in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE

Man-made Al Marjan islands development to feature clubs, beach parties and 100 restaurants

Four man-made islands off the coast of the UAE are set to become a ‘new Ibiza’ as home to two giant clubs, 100 restaurants and four beach clubs.

The Al Marjan islands development in Ras Al Khaimah will be able to host 20,000 guests and feature five hotels, according to the Daily Mail.

It will be like “a mini Ibiza” and feature music festivals, according to the developer.

Construction work on the four islands, which extend 4.5km unto the Gulf, will take between three and five years, according to The National.
