Dubai-based conglomerate ANHAM FZCO has announced its US-based ANHAM-ICSS joint venture has been awarded a contract by the US Army Corps of Engineers for the Drainage System project in Bagram, Afghanistan.
The project will improve the topographical lay out of the location and provide more efficient drainage from the site for a safer weather-ready environment. The contract is valued at $19.9m, with a period of performance of 600 calendar days.
“We are pleased to have been selected by the USACE to aid in their endeavours in the region,” said AH Farouki, chairman and CEO of ANHAM FZCO.
